Thanks to a watchtower, it is especially possible to observe the typical species in the area like the Heron or the West Indian Whistling Duck, that populate the Negril Great Morass.
The tower is very high and gives a better view of the countryside, and lets you admire the reserve’s wealth of fauna and flora that include among its more special plants the Swamp Royal Palm and the Anchovy Pear bullet.
From the tower it is possible to see Orange Bay and the Negril Hills, and you can look out onto the very beautiful coral barrier that distinguishes the Jamaican coast. 

In addition to birds, the park hosts a wide variety of reptiles and insects, including colourful butterflies which truly stand out.  It is possible to have guided tours in the park or relax a little while sport fishing on the lake.
